Ah, Victoria, Canada.

Dreadlocks are very popular here. And not the dyed urban burner dread falls variety. They like them fuzzy and natural here. To be honest, I kinda liked dreads -- until Victoria.

Victoria is not a bad place. The weather is decent, it's coastal, and this many tourists can't be wrong about it. It's a little too suburban and sleepy for my tastes...However, it's a charming enough place to stop for tea with grandma and your anglophile niece on your way to Vancouver. And you might see a whale on the ferry there, if you're lucky.

Don't come here expecting a bustling metropolis, but if leafy suburbs and quaint English harbors tickle your knickers, Victoria might just be your cup of tea.
