Buenos dias!

I am sitting on the counter by the sink while my love takes a bath. (I already showered.) Sitting here, I can just write in my journal and slyly steal glances at the end of each sentence.

Yesterday we arrived in Spain. After a long siesta, we ventured into central Madrid, exploring main streets and side streets, visiting Puerta Del Sol, Plaza de la Independencia and Plaza Mayor, which was filled with artists and musicians, as always. It felt odd to be back here again after two years. But very nice.

My love and I went for a walk that lasted until half past two in the morning and the streets were literally crowded with people. That is why they call Madrilenos, "los gatos", because they wander through the night like alley cats.
