I am very confused as to what time it is. I've just woken up to find that the sun appears to be rising. I can see all the colors of the rainbow on the horizon, more vibrant than I have ever witnessed in all my life. The tiny white glaciers we've passed that were floating serenely in the dark blue sea and the large blankets of snow covering parts of the dark desolate mountains tells me this must be Greenland.

There is a very thin two-inch layer of frost on the interior side of the airplane window. There are some very large glaciers I can see again now that we are soaring over the water. I've never seen them before until now. They are as beautiful as this violet-blue sky that my eyes are fixated on, which continues to prevent me from sleeping. And as beautiful as the crisp white horizon, formed now by the clouds that are too bright to stare at for much longer. I must close the window now and try to get some rest.
