AMSTERDAM!!!

I am writing this in Amsterdam. At the airport. Wow. So many delays! I feel bad for Senora. I hope we make it to Madrid for her. I want to see Spain too.

Amsterdam is very very different. Strange, but wonderful. Its hot. Beautiful. The people are simple. They seem to live in a utopia. They are all so good-looking! They have marvelous faces. I want to come back here someday. Its so strange. Multicultural, yet I feel I could never completely fit in. They are nice people. They ride bikes and hang around town. Their taxis are mercedes!! They are all about style. But it seems to come natural.

Amsterdam has bells, carnival music, rock, old buildings with stone statues, narrow brick side streets, peace-loving people, canals and gondolas and history. And street performers who paint themselves up and stand still, to entertain. I was totally facsinated. Hopefully the next entry will mention how much we got to do in Spain. I don't mind the Europeans' lack of air-conditioning. I feel like I want to walk up and hug them all.
